Chapter 199 – Side Ahri – Part three

I remain calm and dispatch the black blood monsters closing in with my spear.

My magic eye with the power of future sight tells me.

It tells me how my enemies fall.

It tells me the trajectory of death the tip of my spear should be on.

It’s a simple job, as simple as letting out a sigh.

The enemy was weakened by Seilook’s dragon breath, and they flinch as they pass through the monster repellent barrier.

There would be no way to miss, even without my magic eye.

The table is perfectly set.

I look around, and see that although people feel a little tense, they are also very much composed.

This probably feels unsatisfactory for Lady Kalin.

As I think about this, I notice that the large number of black blood monsters has been greatly reduced, and the ground around Habbafulton has been painted black.

“Ahri, look.”

Roa, who was with Lady Kalin, is suddenly here.

She is probably trying to escape Lady Kalin’s frustration.

I let out a small sigh, and look to where her spear is pointing.

I see Unknown is shooting black spears into the sky again and again.

I assume Seilook is going around in circles, and Unknown is trying to shoot it down.

We previously received a message that stated that according to Master Rust’s analysis, Unknown seems to only put a lot of power into trying to attack Seilook.

It really is only after Seilook… I see, so Seilook is acting as bait.

As I realize this, I look towards Unknown.

My future sight doesn’t activate.

It feels like that black surface is obstructing it.

Instead, I see Hipopo brothers running.

Unfortunately, their numbers have decreased too.

But knowing Master Rust, I assume he returned the injured ones to the scrolls.

Hipopo is leading the way, who I assume was summoned while I was not looking.

Master Rust is riding Hipopo, and as they get almost close enough to touch Unknown, they start going around.

I see Master Rust taking something from his potion holder.

“That looks like one of those three count potions.”

Roa tells me, as Master Rust splashes Unknown with the first potion.

Its effect is great.

A ripple runs through the entire black mass that is Unknown, and it becomes stringy like it’s melting.

Those countless black strings wriggle and writhe, stretching from Unknown’s core in all directions.

“Master Rust explained it to me, but I didn’t really understand.

He said the first potion undoes its union, and that Unknown is many strings weaved together by a curse and into a semicircle shape.

Like a basket for a curse, he said.”

Roa plainly explains.

That doesn’t really make me understand this a lot better either, but I can at least see Master Rust’s potion is having an effect on Unknown.

Master Rust takes out the next potion, and splashes it at the countless strings that is Unknown.
