「Onii-chan, you see, can I go to the forest with China-chan」

After breakfast, I was thinking of starting work, but my younger sister had a request.

It seems that she wanted to go harvesting in the forest with China-chan.

It seems that originally, China-chan and the other village children harvested things near the village, and after talking about it, my younger sister wanted to go as well.

「We plan on going as well, so don’t worry.」

「I’m going hunting with Queen too!」

It seems that Ilya-chan would be accompanying my younger sister.

In addition, Cruz-kun was, more or less, going with Queen as well Perhaps Pii-chan and the others wanted to go as well, so let’s ask them.

「Everyone will be there, so it should be fine」

「It seems that monsters rarely appear around here, so don’t worry.」

In the vicinity of this village, or rather, this mountain, monsters rarely appeared.

What was dangerous were animals such as wild boars and bears and it seems that there weren’t any wolves, so the level of danger was low.

If Queen hunted around the nearby area, it would be much safer.

And so, my younger sister, Sakuya-chan, Ilya-chan, Cruz-kun, Queen, Pii-chan, the Seacat, China-chan, as well as the children from the village went to the forest to harvest.

I knew that my familiars accompanied them as escorts, and the other children decided to join them as well, so it turned out to be quite the group, but several villagers were going to go with them, so I was anticipating their harvest and hunt.

Now then, everyone went out to go harvest, so I decided to do some work as well.

Today, I planned on making a refrigerator, no, a cold room().

We talked about making wine and were going to use the ice magic tool to preserve it, but as expected, the refrigerator was small and I thought of turning a room into a cold room.

However, I had not yet talked to the bear peddler about it, so I had to start by checking if there was a vacant house, or an empty room.

「As one would expect, there are no extra houses.」

I tried asking the bear peddler, or rather, the village head, at once, but it seems there were no extra houses or rooms.

In that case, the next step seemed to be to build a hut or make a snow hut using magic, huh

TN: a kamakura, or a snow hut, is a snow dome that is big enough for people to enter.

There are also ceremonial winter celebrations in the colder parts of Japan where altars are set up inside to worship gods.

Kamakura is also the name of a city.

「Then, is there a plot of land somewhere that I can use」

「A plot of land If it’s on the outskirts of the village, then there’s no problem, but what are you going to use it for」

I gave my proposal to the village head to make something new and he consented to it.

It would be better to make a snow hut using magic, because you wouldn’t finish making a hut in one day, so I was told that the villagers would make it if there were magic tools.

I had several huts in my Item Box, but as one would expect, it wouldn’t be good to take them out Besides, if it’s a hut, then you would need timber and wouldn’t it be faster to make it using magic

Anyhow, maybe I should look around the village first, because in the end, the only thing I did yesterday was touch the sheep.

Walking briskly around the village, there was a steep cliff at the edge of the farm and I realized that it could be a wall.

I was wondering if we could dig here and make it into an ice house or something.

TN: it seems that the farm is at the bottom of the cliff It would make more sense that way…

Walking closer, the walls were made using soil, so it seems like I would be able to do it somehow using magic.

And so, I first did an experiment.

Using the trick of using『Earth Magic』to dig pitfalls, I opened up a tunnel.

At that time, I hardened the walls of the hole, and reinforced it so that it wouldn’t collapse.

There was a slight consumption of mana, but I widened the hole and just hardened that part of the soil, so it seems that that turned out better than I expected.

I tried to make it up to about a meter, but it seems that I could continue making it like this, so let’s go get permission.

Arriving at the bear peddler’s house, I came across the scene of the Ojii-san pair kneeling as San-san scolded them.

Good grief, what were they doing….
