Happy Monday!

Heres the chapter, enjoy.

On our way back to the orphanage, we stopped by the armor shop and bought an iron shield.

This was also for smithing practice, so I purchased a cheap one with a basic structure.

While harvesting and fighting against monsters when hunting with Ojii-san and the others, we were still making do with the hide shield, but this would be necessary in the future.

The armor shop had iron armor as well, but the arm and leg guards were too heavy for us, and even if I was thinking of trying to make them, my blacksmith level was not that high, so I couldnt buy it yet.

When we returned to the orphanage, the first thing I did was give swords that I bought and lumber to the two people, and had them make scabbards.

The last time with Cruz-kuns scabbard, we reviewed the production process, so they should know how to make it.

Of course, I told them that it was alright even if they failed.

Everything was an experience.

After that, I went to the kitchen and made new food with Char-chan.

The karaage was popular, so I wanted this to turn out well too.

I bagan crushing the bread.

Char-chan cut up the boar meat and the Orc meat, sprinkled them with salt, pepper, and spices, coated them with wheat flour, dipped them in the egg, and covered them in the breadcrumbs that I made.

When Char-chan fried them, the tonkatsu was completed.

TN: for those who forgot, tonkatsu is breaded pork cutlet

I, who had, as usual, taught Char-chan how to make it and delegated it to her, headed to where the two people were making the scabbards.

The two of them could make the rough shape, but it seems that they couldnt do the detailed work, so we did it together.

Incidentally, Cruz-kun was trying out the various weapons that we bought today with Ojii-san.

There were other children at the orphanage and it was dangerous, but Cruz-kun seemed like he was having fun since it was rare to have weapons that he usually didnt use.

Maa, Cruz-kun was a combat-type, and these were weapons that he rarely used, so perhaps it couldnt be helped.

The children were watching the two people from a place that was further away.

It was time for dinner and everyone gathered at the dining room.

Obaa-san and the others, who had returned before I knew it, helped Char-chan with frying the tonkatsu, so she finished making them earlier than expected.

Truthfully, I wanted to eat it freshly fried, but as expected, when making nearly fifty portions, they would cool down, and there was no rice either, so I made a tonkatsu sandwich.

Cut the hard bread in two and sandwiching the tonkatsu in between, it was completed.

As expected, the children were full if they ate one tonkatsu sandwich.

However, we used boar meat and Orc meat to make tonkatsu, so it was pitiful to just have either one.

Thats why, I cut the tonkatsu sandwich in half and distributed half of each so that they could eat two kinds.

After Director-senseis greetings, we all began to eat.

In this world, there was some bread that had meat sandwiched in between, but because the tonkatsu sandwich was quite big, everyone stuffed their cheeks.

It seems that Ojii-san liked the tonkatsu and the tonkatsu sandwich as well and gobbling it up.

Incidentally, I gave Ojii-san one of each without cutting them in half.

When the older boys finished eating, they started on their second serving.

To make it easier to get more, I cut the sandwiches into quarters, so the younger children also began to refill their plates.

We put out two types with different flavors, but it seems that  they were both popular, which was a relief.

The next day, we made preparations to go to the hut.

We loaded the wolf cart up with wheat flour and alcohol.

Yesterday, a large amount of alcohol had been delivered by the liquor store, so we needed to load half of it when we went to the hut.

Sakuya-chan liked the pancakes, so the sieve was also given to Oji-san.

There were not a lot of opportunities for us to buy eggs and milk, so it wasnt a problem.

Maa, it was unfortunate for the children though….

We finished packing things and Sakuya-chan said her goodbyes to the children.

This was only her third time coming to the orphanage, but it seems that she made more friends, which was good.

Both Ojii-san and Obaa-san seemed somewhat delighted.

Looking forward to them coming again next month, I escorted Ojii-san and the others back.
